The 4 Pillars of PRIDE
PRIDE's mission is to educate, promote, and support drug-free youth who care for the safety and health of themselves, their peers, families, and communities. PRIDE promotes this by basing its program around four components known as "the four pillars of PRIDE". The pillars consist of drug-free activities, drug education, community service, and community outreach.
.

+Drug-Free Activities: We demonstrate that drugs and alcohol aren't necessary to have fun by planning drug-free activities for our team and others. Movie nights, scavenger hunts and trips to the beach are just a few examples. Research shows that youth who have access to alternative activities are less likely to start using drugs.
+Community Service: We strive to make our community a better, healthier place to live by giving back to it. Through service we also demonstrate that there are young people who care and are positively involved in the community.
+Drug Education: We stay educated about the effects of drugs and new drug trends so that we can be informed and know what we're talking about. If we want to tell people that drugs are harmful, we should know why and be able to explain the importance of a drug-free lifestyle.
+Community Outreach: Through song, dance, speech and other creative outlets, we seek to spread the message in our community. By presenting programs, participating in community events and more, we share our message and make a positive impact.
